Project: Synthesis and Characterization of Nano-nized Inhalation Drugs

Nano-nization of inhalation drugs has the potential to improve the suspension stability of the inhalation formula, which leads to better dosing performance. Changing the particle size of the drug also alters its aerodynamics properties and can potentially improve its delivery into the lungs.

This project will study the stability of the nano-nized inhalation drugs in standard delivery formulation as well as the efficacy and delivery characteristics of the nano-nized particles.
