| Biography |
Dr Jimmy Yun is the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of NanoMaterials Technology (NMT). He is also the co-founder of NMT.
Prior to founding NMT, Dr Yun held various managerial positions in Natsteel Chemicals and the National Science & Technology Board (NSTB) in Singapore .
Dr Yun has 15 years of industrial research and development experience in pharmaceutical and various powder applications. He has been engaged in extensive research in the application of super-critical fluid technology for the processing of natural products and pharmaceutical active ingredients when he was a research fellow with Hokkaido National Industrial Research Institute, Japan and Specialty Separation Centre at Geogia Institute of Technology, USA .
Dr Yun obtained his PhD in 1992 and Bachelor of Engineering with first class honors in 1988 from the University of New South Wales , Australia . He is actively engaged in particle technology research since his post graduate studies. |

| Biography |
Prof Chen is the Technical Consultant/Director and a co-founder of NanoMaterials Technology. He is the inventor and principal investigator of the nano-sized Precipitated Calcium Carbonate (NPCC) technology. Prof Chen is recognized in the worldwide research community as an expert in nanotechnology research and has made numerous presentations on his research finding at global scientific seminars on nanotechnology.
In 1997, Prof Chen was awarded the ‘Most Promising Young Scientist’ title in China in recognition for his work in High Gravity Controlled Precipitation research. He is also a member of the chairing committee of the prestigious national China ’s technology program (known as the 863 Program) for the field of nanotechnology. He was a visiting Professor at Case Western Reserve University from 1997 to 1998, and was awarded the Dow Chemical Fellowship in 1997.
Prof Chen pioneered nanotechnology research in Beijing University of Chemical Technology (BUCT) and continues to serve as technical adviser for ongoing nanotechnology research in BUCT.
Dr Chen obtained his PhD and Bachelor of Engineering with first class honors in Chemical Engineering from the University of Zhejiang , China. |

| Biography |
While working in Genentech Inc. USA, Prof Chan was involved in major breakthroughs of aerosol delivery of protein drugs using recombinant human deoxyribonuclease (rhDNase, Pulmozyme) for the treatment of cystic fibrosis. He also pioneered research on formulations of powder aerosols in biotechnology, and was a member of the first group to report the feasibility of producing chemically stable powders of therapeutic protein for inhalation. In addition, he developed aerosol powder formulations which have been successfully used for both diagnostic and therapeutic purposes for lung diseases. These powders are being further developed into a commercial product with an industrial partner. Prof Chan also pioneered the study of aerosol deposition in the lung using novel imaging techniques.

Prof. Dr. Siegfried Neumann

| Biography |
Prof. Neumann received his PhD in biochemistry from the University of Bochum, Germany in 1971. He subsequently did his post-doctoral work and lectured in Microbiology at Bochum University until 1975, when he moved to Merck KGaA.
At Merck KGaA, Prof. Neumann was a group leader in R&D in the Diagnostic Division until 1985. He subsequently headed up the Immunochemistry Department in Preclinical Research at Merck Pharma until 1989 when he returned as the Head of R&D of the Diagnostic Division. In 1994, he moved on to head up the Business Development and Research Alliance Office in Specialty Chemistry and Biotechnology. Prof. Neumann is currently a Senior Consultant of R&D at Merck KGaA.
Prof. Neumann has an established track record in technology scouting and evaluation, and participates in various national and international expert panels in the field of biotechnology. He is currently active in the committees and working groups for research planning and supervision, both at national and at the European Community level. |

| Biography |
John Mitchell retired from Pfizer Inc as Senior Vice President and President/Team Leader, Pfizer Global Manufacturing at the end of 2004. While at Pfizer, he was responsible for worldwide manufacturing operations that produced pharmaceutical, consumer healthcare and animal health products, encompassing plants and logistics centers at more than 120 sites in 40 countries.
John holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Yale University and an honorary Doctor of Laws degree from the National University of Ireland.
He is the Chair of the Strategic Advisory Board of the Pharma/Biopharma Industry Training Partnership at University College Cork in Ireland and a member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the Institute of Chemical and Engineering Sciences and the Scientific Advisory Board of NanoMaterials Technology Pte Ltd, both in Singapore. He also serves on the Board of Trustees of the Northfield Mount Hermon School, a private secondary school in Massachusetts. |

Dr. Frank U. Floether

Dr. Floether had held many managerial positions in pharmaceutical R&D and Operations for past 28 years, both within pharmaceutical generic business and during the last 15 years, for the multinational company, Johnson & Johnson.
Dr. Floether retired from Johnson & Johnson in 2008, where he held the position of Vice-President of Business Development Asia-Pacific within the Global ChemPharm Division since 2006. Dr. Floether joined Johnson & Johnson in 1993 as Director of Pharmaceutical Development and rose to Senior Director and Head of “The R.W. Johnson Pharmaceutical Research Institute” (“PRI”), Switzerland in 1997. He moved to Global ChemPharm Division of Johnson & Johnson as Vice President of Global Analytical Development in 2001. Prior to the appointment, Dr. Floether was with G. Streuli & Co. AG in Uznach, Switzerland heading the Operations and R&D from 1990 to 1993 and was with ISIS-Chemie in Zwickau, Germany (lateron Schwarz Pharma) from 1979 to 1990.
Dr. Floether received his PhD in Chemistry and PhD in Pharmacy from Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg in 1977. |
